Sniffy
Bags

Small
bags of herbs which can be tucked into drawers or
hung on hangers in your closet. Not only do they smell
good, but they mildly deter bugs, such as moths, from
laying eggs on your natural fabric clothing.
You will
need:
-
3x5 muslin drawstring bag
-
mixing bowl
-
about 1/2 C of any pleasant dried herb combination
This group has antiseptic and bug repellent properties:
-
1/4 C dried lavender petals
-
1/8 C dried thyme
-
1/8 C lemon balm
Remove
any large stems. Mix the herbs in a mixing bowl and
add to the muslin bag.Do not use herbs that are powdered
because they will sift through the fabric of the bag.
Tie
the drawstring snug (not in a knot). Replace herbs
after one year.Hang or place these among your natural
fabric clothing to deter bugs and make your clothing
smell good.
