Fleece Blanket Instructions
Cut 2 pieces of fleece the same size. Lay one on top of the other. I used 2 different fleeces - a solid lavender and a Winnie the Pooh printed fleece. The first thing you want to do is cut a square out all 4 corners of the fleece of about 5-6 inches (equal to how long you want your fringe length to be). This makes a nice finish to the corners when you're through tying all your fringes to each other. The next step is just to cut fringes through both layers of fabric about 1 1/2 inches wide by 5 or 6 inches long. Longer fringes look nicer but your finished blanket size will shrink up, so use a big enough pieces of fleece to begin with. Then start tying each fringe to the one directly underneath it and go all the way around the blanket. They don't take long to make at all. I went crazy with fleece last Christmas and made poncho's, scarves and blankets for everyone!

ake Your Own Spot Remover
Combine equal parts of vinegar, Whisk laundry detergent, ammonia, and water. I add 1/2 cup of each to a spray bottle beginning with the water. Instead of shaking, roll the bottle to avoid making lather. Even gets red Kool-aid out!

Remove Odors from Your Hands
My favorite tip is to keep a salt shaker by all sinks. Wet your hands a little, sprinkle salt on hands, and rub in for 10-20 seconds. This removes most smells from your hands, like onion, garlic, gas spills, even manure smells if you are a farmer, or married to one. Please be careful of open wounds. Salt will clean, but the hurt could be worse.

Remove odors from your freezer
Empty grounds from done coffee pot and place in small plastic clean bowl, pour in wet coffee grounds and place in freezer. Absorbs odor better than baking soda

Cleaning Make-up Off Organizers or Vanities
Take a cotton ball dipped in baby oil and rub over area, move on to next area. The oil will disolve any and all make-up, mascara, you name it. THEN wipe with tissue. Remove oily residue with glass cleaner or soapy water. This works well on stubborn tar, bugs, road dirt, and berries on your car as well. Makes life easy!
