Fight back by doing a little prep work when you can squeeze in the time.
Store the ready-to-make smoothie ingredients in freezer bags so you can blend it quick and go….and drive on past the donut shop!
This smoothie includes a variety of fruits and veggies (no bananas):
- English cucumber
Prep ahead and store in the freezer for busy mornings.
What to do:
The following ingredients are simply a guide to help you get started because smoothies are VERY flexible recipes. Change it up to fit your taste-buds!
- 1 English cucumber
- 2 medium zucchini
- 1 avocado
- 3 apples, any variety you like
- 1 ½ cups grapes, seedless
- 6-12 T almonds, whole natural (add 1-2 T per smoothie)
- 1 bunch Kale
Chop the fruits and vegetables and divide into 6 quart-size freezer bags.
These ingredients will make 6 smoothie servings about 2-3 cups each when prepared in the blender.
Add the ingredients of one bag to the blender, plus 1-2 cups of water and pulse/blend until smooth.
Best served immediately!
